In 2023, a close family member was told they would need to wait 9 months for an MRI in Ontario. Nine months — to find out whether a persistent pain was something serious or nothing at all. The anxiety of not knowing was almost worse than the pain itself.

We discovered that the same MRI could be done across the border in Michigan within a week, at a fraction of what many Canadians assume it costs. The facility was modern, the staff was professional, and the radiologist report was more detailed than what we had typically received in Canada. The whole experience took less than a day.

That is when the question became obvious: why is there no simple, transparent way for Canadians to access this? Why does it require hours of research, phone calls to U.S. facilities, and guesswork about pricing?

RivalQuest Health was born to answer that question. We handle the logistics — finding accredited facilities, coordinating scheduling, delivering results — so patients can focus on what matters: getting answers about their health.
